Week 8
14 November 2011
Great job, everyone!
Across the board, we saw lots of promising work. Remember that learning to design and develop for the web is not a skill that can be learned overnight—or in 8 weeks, for that matter. Hopefully you each have a solid foundation to build upon as you progress in the field, but remember that the web is constantly changing, so be prepared to adapt.
Please take one minute and complete this survey so we can continue to improve the course: End of Class Wrap-Up Survey
You can continue to use your FTP login info and space on our server as a way to test your websites. Your url is http://class.3c32.com/yourfirstname.

I know some of you expressed interest in a “level 2″ course that dives into some of the more exciting things about web design: javascript, content management system themes, etc. We have suggested it to the college and will let you know if/when we get permission to teach it. In the meantime, if you are interested in retaking the Introduction to Web Design course, we will be teaching it next semester. Details here.
Good luck in the future! Feel free to email us with your web design questions.
