Stacy and Don merged businesses in 2009 after collaborating on projects for over a year. Now, with their powers combined(!) 3c32 has the capacity to help you realize any project, from user interfaces to printed pieces to websites to art installations. We can't wait to hear from you soon!
Stacy previously owned Three Circles Studio, a company dedicated to providing socially responsible businesses and organizations with top-of-the-line, affordable design. She now handles the design process at 3c32, translating concept into content in a way that makes your eyes happy.
In 2002, Stacy transferred to and graduated from the Maine College of Art, receiving a Bachelors of Art with honors, specializing in graphic design. Following graduation, Stacy worked as a creative director with John Rooks at Dwell Creative (now the SOAP Group), an environmental niche design agency. During her 5 years at Dwell, Stacy was involved in making business decisions relating to company culture and plans for growth, as well as filling the role of creative director. During this time, the company grew to 5 employees, which Stacy helped manage on a daily basis. She was instrumental in helping the company increase its annual billing each year by 200%.
Stacy is a 4th year student at Riverview Foundation—a non-profit, non-competitive, nature-based martial art school. This ancient and holistic teaching has brought her a new understanding and requirement from life.
Don previously ran Apt.32, a design studio that emphasized the intersection between physical and digital worlds through the creation of unique digital experiences and digitally-derived physical objects. He now manages project development at 3c32, diligently finding ways to translate design sketches into functional, satisfying interfaces.
Don graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2005, earning a Bachelor of Architecture with a Minor in Industrial Design. From 2006 to 2007, he worked as a design associate and project manager at MESH Architectures, a small architecture company focused on the creation of hybrid digital-physical spaces. There he supervised and participated in the design and construction of a range of projects, from web prototypes to mobile recording studios to large-scale commercial development competitions.
Don is a self-taught programmer with over 6 years of web design and development experience. He is an ace at Processing. You can take a look at his personal portfolio. He also loves maps, and just about any other kind of data visualization.
